The Ceramic filter is a 0.9 micron 10" size non proprietary filter that has been tested for fit and form and is compatible with PortaWell. The filter has excellent build quality, and operates at a flow rate and pressure drop comparable to the AquaCera and Doulton ceramic filters. The manufacturer is the major ceramic filter fabricator and supplier in China (1.3 billion people) and although it has not been certified to meet U.S. NSF standards it is an excellent choice to use

  • Usage: Water with high turbidity should be treated to be remove particulate using sedimentation, and prefiltering to minimize frequent clogging of the ceramic filter.
  • Care: Ceramic filters should be removed from housing and allowed to dry between uses if longer than 72 hours. The first several gallons of water pumped should be discarded upon initial and reuse of the filter
  • This filter is manufactured and imported from China and meets ISO requirements for the control of manufacturing processes. Ceramic filters are fragile so care must be taken not to drop or damage the filter during handling.
