AquaMetix® filter is used for the reduction/removal of chemical contaminants from water. AquaMetix® filters are made of a proprietary blend of activated carbon and ceramic matrix technology, designed to remove a wider range of contaminants than activated carbon filters. The AquaMetix filter is effective it treating contaminated surface water that may contain harmful chemicals such as chloramines, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), heavy metals (like lead and mercury), pharmaceuticals, and fluoride. This versatility makes it excellent for multi-contaminant filtration.
